MPSI is capable of handling the very largest of stochastic inversion problems, the most recent project requiring the
generation of 100 realisations of a 300 square kilometre data set conditioned to 45 wells. The realisations were then lithology transformed
to report volumetrics and classified to connectivity probability volumes using our new Connections code based on Object Aggregation technology.
We have published a technical note describing the general workflow and providing example results in some detail. This can be viewed on-line or downloaded as a PDF format
document. To find out more about this inversion technology and obtain both the new technical material and material previously
presented at PETEX 2002, please go to the
Geophysics page.
